1956 Chevrolet
Convertible
This is for sure a rare find. Been
sitting inside for over 30 years. Owner decided to spend more
time with his family so he sold this restoration in progress.
Frame has been completed. Body was removed and is not yet
installed properly. It needs shimmed up. The frame appears
excellent and rust free. Floors and cowl area very nice.
Original red and white car. Motor is a 283 with 265 top end and
cast iron powerglide appears incorrect as it does not fit the
factory rear crossmember. Car is haphazardly put together. A
couple of weeks work and you could probably drive it. Fresh
paint job probably needs some TLC. All in all this is a very
nice car and with some effort could be a top flight car. Brakes
are all new. Window excellent except windshield which has wiper
marks. Top frame appears very nice. Look at the photos and see
the excellent condition this car is in. $24,995.
